1. Overview of linear screw stepper motor:

The linear screw stepping motor uses a hybrid stepping motor as the power source. Through the unique patented technology, the screw drive assembly and the motor rotor are combined to convert the motor's rotational motion into linear motion.

2. Features of linear screw stepper motor:

● High precision, positioning accuracy can reach ±0.02mmThe linear screw stepper motor reduces the problem of interpolation lag due to the simple transmission mechanism. The positioning accuracy, repeatability, and absolute accuracy are generally higher than "rotary servo motor & ball screw", and are easy to implement. The positioning accuracy of the linear screw stepper motor can reach ±0.02mm, and the "rotary servo motor ball screw" can reach up to ±0.01㎜.

● High speed, up to 300m/min

From the comparison of speed and acceleration, the linear screw stepper motor has a considerable advantage. The linear screw stepper motor can reach a speed of 300m/min and an acceleration of 10g; the ball screw speed is 120m/min and the acceleration is 1.5g. . Moreover, the speed of the linear screw stepper motor will be further increased after successfully solving the heat problem, while the speed of the "rotary servo motor & ball screw" is limited and it is difficult to increase it further.

● Long life, easy maintenance

Linear screw stepping motors have installation gaps between moving parts and fixed parts, no contact, and will not be worn due to high-speed reciprocating motion of the mover. Long-term use will not change the positioning accuracy of the motion, and is suitable for high-precision occasions. The ball screw cannot guarantee the accuracy in high-speed reciprocating motion. Due to high-speed friction, it will cause the wear of the screw nut and affect the accuracy requirements of the movement. It cannot meet the high-precision requirements.
